Bec Plath is a Brisbane singer and another one that I just stumbled into - how good is it to find talent by accident. Bec‘s soft, pleasurable voice won me over immediately on this song. How sad, as has been the case for many years, that commercial radio can't pick up on a terrific song and give it the airing it deserves. This is a taste of what we can expect from her new EP, which follows last year's 'Unrequited’. Bec's soft, delicious tone works into an intense uptempo chorus and the piano accompaniment interweaves well. There's lots of heart and sincerity in her songwriting and her emotional delivery makes this a worthy single in anyone's mind.
