For those who appreciate the deep simplicity of Iron and Wine, Stories under Nails is in some ways similar However, one listen to the tales Ben has to tell and it is the lyrics and atmosphere [check ‘Grieve all you want’ or ‘Sway with me’] you wont’ easily forget. A challenging recording from an artist who has been labeled a hillbilly Leonard Cohen and rural Tom Waits, quite the compliment for a 24-year-old.
