:: Bias B - Been There Done That

Bias B

Perhaps Bias B should listen carefully to his own music with a critical ear before dishing the criticism on others. Attacking the music industry for supporting shows like Australian Idol he says, “I’m ashamed to be rapping when financial backing going to s**t like this.” Those are the words from “Wordem Up”, and frankly the “s**t” he refers to is a touch better than his latest work. It’s a case of plan, bad rap. This album fails to inspire in every sense of the word. It simply skims the surface of the musical pool without even attempting to delve a little deeper. The lyrics are sing-songy, the rhyming equivalent to a five-year old, and the beats fair no better. It’s just too shallow to merit commendation and sounds more like a compilation by a high-school band, then the mark of a professional artist. So, unfortunately Bias B has a lot to learn before he can attend his graduation ceremony.
