With primal beats and devastating sounds, Bird Blobs hit hard for an introduction to their style. It's the sort of raw, often bluesy elements, that you'd hear in the old style pub rooms where music meant everything to the listenign audience. This band can certainly tap into frightening noises and they typify the true sex, rock & roll image. The vocals growl and the guitars burn and the songs tug into the darker thoughts. The new rhythm section adds more bite and Tim Evans gives powerful vocals, particularly on opening track “Billy” and it venures on from there. All these factors and they are an Australian band. The future looks good for them and already they've played alongside some notable bands in UK and USA. The uncompromising sounds await further attention.
