Brendan is the front man and chief songwriter from the fine Sydney band Karma County. They have released several excellent albums over the years and toured the world. He has now decided to release his debut solo album. It’s quite overdue for him and he has been able to extrapolate his overall singing and production skills in bringing pleasure and charm to his fans and for general music lovers. Brendan is an old pro and shows his experience by creating something sonically eclectic to go with his well crafted lyrics. His rich musical journey stands him in good stead to deliver his rich voice (to life’s observations) and augmented by varying degrees of guitar sounds, rhythms, and strings. It therefore results in an unrestrained and beautiful set of songs, above all demonstrating Brendan’s musical strength. He has enlisted the assistance of a good set of musicians to help him along this path, including David McCormack, Charlie Owen, and Jimmy Little. It’s one of the feel-good albums of the year.
