Twenty-six years after Café Del Mar opened its doors in Ibiza, Spain, the music that made it go off is still going strong. The latest instalment of the very successful ‘Café Del Mar’ CD series is another smooth and sultry compilation of 11 tracks by Digital Analog Band (aka Luis Sancho and Pedro Andrew, members of the now defunct Héroes del Silencio band). No surprises here. Like previous releases it features melodic, chilled out, jazzy and Latin infused club tunes driven by guitars and percussion that encompasses sounds from around the world: reggae, samba, ambient, drum and bass and synth. A great CD to have for late night drinks, dinner at home or even a lazy Sunday afternoon. Or you could get it just for the very cool packaging - it has a magnetic flip top box.
