I have recently been introduced to Caitlin Harnett, another young singing talent who has just released her debut EP ‘Tiny Spark’. At just eighteen years of age, Caitlin shows terrific potential as a singer/songwriter of high order. These six songs give us just a taste of what she can offer. It‘s interesting to note that one of the songs is a cover - 'Jackson’, the old 1960s classic that has been sung by numerous performers over the years. The five original songs are well crafted and she has an inviting voice - displaying a natural warmth and freshness that is sure to captivate audiences for a long time, particularly on the folk festival circuit.
