In the words of frontman Tommy Boyce “I feel like what we do is a continuation in a tradition of Australian rock’n’roll”. It’s such an obvious parallel to draw that I’m hesitant to mention it, but this Melbourne three piece have AC/DC written all over their collective faces, this track especially. Blunt, raw edged, bourbon fuelled guitar riffs swung over a ransack styled lyrical delivery and sweaty, rock-dog attitude, they’ve been described as “Jet on Viagra” and it’s an analogy that holds water.
