The 30th birthday compilation CD series wraps up with the third and final double-CD. Titles The Hard Years, it is fitting that the track selections are done by two of Central Station's stalwarts of the past ten years - Nick Skitz and Bexta. In covering the harder genres of dance styles, Nick packs this disc with pumping, high energy tracks, including Hocus Pocus, Klubbheads, Floorfilla, and ATB, to name a few. Nick has been well known for his legendary Skitz Mix CDs and provides a worthy selection. DJ Bexta has been a favourite amongst the Australian decks and has the honour of compiling this final piece in the series. She provides some noteworthy trance mixes that have shaped the clubs. Some of those selected include Commander Tom, Usura, Busted DJs, and the terrific The Age Of Love (mixed by Jam & Spoon). It's a fine representation of the development of dance music in Australia and a credit to Central Station's influence in bringing us the sounds.
