Charles Jenkins

Charles has been one of these people in music who constantly receives plaudits for his singer-songwriter talents, yet doesn't have much to show for it in terms of success (which is a shame), except that he is dedicated to the passion of writing gorgeously simple and effective tunes. As the lead singer of the terribly under-rated Icecream Hands, he helped engineer some terrific pop music by the band over several albums. Now he delivers a lush, sweet-sounding solo set that again deserves praise and greater recognition.
