After the success of the Ministry of Sound Retrospective albums last year they have now decided to release a 3-CD Set of their best chill out music that has been released over the last 18 years. This is one hell of a collection that no true music lover can be without in their collection. All the songs you would expect to be here are here. From Rob Dougan’s ‘Clubbed To Death’ (made famous by its use in ‘The Matrix’) through to the classic ‘Missing’ by Everything But The Girl and ‘Silence’ by Delerium. There are chilled remixes of modern tracks like ‘We Are The People’ by Empire Of The Sun and ‘Black & Gold’ by Sam Sparro. While tracks like ‘Paper Aeroplane’ bu Angus & Julia Stone, ‘Heartbeats’ by Jose Gonzales and ‘This Old Love’ by Lior doesn’t seem to fit the Ministry Of Sound format, the remixes of other songs like ‘Young Folks’ by Pet, Bjorn & John soon has you a massive fan of this collection. This collection will bring back a lot of memories, and with tracks by artists like Mylo, Moloko and Underworld included you can’t help but be impressed by what the Ministry Of Sound has managed to put together. This is a must for fans of good chill music.
