C Note

I have recently been introduced to C Note, a Latin American nad of five guys who are setting about establishing a big buzz in US music circles. The group has been around for a while but their talent is opnly starting to come to prominence. They were originally managed by the well-known music identity Lou Pearlman (think Backstreet Boys and N'Sync). I don't know what happened to Pearlman in the last couple of years but C Note are pressing on and have released this self-titled album of fourteen tracks, some of which showcase their Spanish vocal prowess. The R&B and pop melodies are well constructed and the harmonies are appealing. Their charisma is sure to appeal to the young fans and apparently display intense dance moves in their live shows, so, added to the Latin flair, it looks like an attractive package. It will be interesting to see where this takes them.
