:: Candice Alley - ColorblindCandice Alley After some time in development, Candice has made great strides in 2003 with an immediate hit single and her first album all coming very quickly. She sings with strong emotion and feeling and she is one of the new breed of female singers ready to make their mark in Australian music. Her first-up single “Falling” was destined to do well because it hits the right emotional style and was quickly embraced by the public. “Dancing The Day Away” is her second single and has a great feel also. It has a catchy appeal. Not all the songs hit the mark straight away, but there are complex thought processes going on also. Candice’s honest vocals provide the appropriate measures for the often-compelling lyrical approach. She demonstrates a maturity that can pave the way for future success. She hasn’t given many live performances to date but, with a band ready to be assembled, we should see a lot more of Candice next year as she continues her rise to prominence. A fine debut effort.
