Commander Tom

A fat mix of techno and trance greets us in Commander Tom’s latest release. The German DJ/producer helped define the trance-techno relationship in the mid 1990s and set about his own style. His work helped influence other producers in the territory. “Attention” is a worthy follow up to the successful “Are Am Eye” chart success of 2004, where he reworked his 1994 anthem. He engages the original female vocal samples of “Superstar” and there are some very good remixes by Steve Murano, January Driver, to name two. Overall, it’s a very infectious package; quirky and effective. It’s sure to be another success in Europe.
