Many years of house music experience and Crispin J Glover retains a rather structured pattern to his style, not projecting much experimentation or, indeed, something devilish and inspiring. He doesn’t like to be perceived as a house producer, but he has a blinkered outlook in attempts to reach into more R&B/rock elements. This album lacks the flavour and brilliance of his earlier work and this effort won’t have the adrenalin pumping at the nightclubs. It’s all a bit shallow and blinkered when it could have promised more.
