Not so much alt/country anymore, as more rock. On ‘Sunday Mourning’ Dan Brodie appears to be shifting his attention away from the normally reliable country style we've become used to, to that of a more rock based (albeit slower) direction. But by doing so, his music now seems more accessible, especially to those who before wouldn't have given it the time of day. It's a fairly bold move but one which should pay off in the end for both Dan and his fans.
