It is refreshing to see a good vibe and initial response to this relatively new artist. Danielle Blakey is a Sydney-based singer/songwriter who, after releasing her debut album three years ago, has stepped up a notch for a very commercial and catchy new release, “Fearless”. Since winning a pop award in the New Artists To Radio competition, some good initial airplay has occurred. And it is well justified because “Fearless” is a radio song, showcasing pop sensibilities and Danielle's personable singing style. Her voice continues to mature from her initial recordings and her personality should lend itself to greater awareness of her music. Danielle is also coming under notice for her capable songwriting, having written for several other artists. “Fearless” is available on iTunes and it is hoped that this will kickstart a successful year for Danielle, with an album due within the first half of 2012.
