Disc 1 is a re-release of Powter’s debut self-titled album, with the new track ‘Love You Lately’. The album showcases the gentle and positive style he has become famous for, and is extremely comfortable on the ears. Powter’s vocals are distinctive; a unique combination of gritty rock and dizzying falsetto. Disc 2 is a DVD hi-resolution stereo version of the album, plus B-sides, music videos and live tracks. The DVD has lots of hidden little treasures and is well worth exploring. Overall this is a very comprehensive release, and highlights the fact that Powter is a man deeply committed to his craft.
