Anywhere you go, one thing that still stands high amongst a young person’s aims is to play in a rock band. Many young teenagers still own this desire and it’s been one of the satisfying things I’ve seen in just our local territory. In America, with a bigger population, the notion is stronger than ever. This band, Day of Infamy, is proof of the huge talent ready to be fulfilled. Despite the leaning towards an urban sound, rock and roll remains strong. This Florida band brings a unique sound from band members ranging in age from just 11 to 19. Being so young, they surprisingly present a single that shows power in lyrics and performance. It’s good to hear this fresh sound – picture the energy and force of an 11-year-old drummer and the fact they’re dealing with a dark subject matter. It all points towards a tremendous future.
