Blonde British singer Diana Vickers might not have won X-Factor a couple of years ago, but she zoomed straight up to Number 1 in the UK with her debut single “Once”. With the electro-pop sound well augmented by a guitar-powered chorus, it's no surprise that the song has grabbed the spotlight. The impact of something fragile, yet bold, in this Cathy Dennis composition, sets up the song perfectly. It will now be interesting to see what style comes with other songs on the album.
