In this terrific career, “We Have You Surrounded” is the first new studio album from The Dirtbombs since “Dangerous Magical Noise” and it doesn't disappoint! The Dirtbombs were formed as a side project and started recording songs about fifteen years ago. This is their 17th and longest-lasting line-up. The new album (the first album of new songs for five years) features the typical raw big beat mix of punk, garage and soul that the band is known for. There are some very strong and pivotal arrangements that produces their unique talent. The fiery punk rock and occasional soulful journey make a great set. It's a real triumph and they are sure to continue to thrive as an outfit of importance. Their live shows are regularly acclaimed and they've grown artistically over time in what they reference and how they convey the thoughts.
