Spooky is the manner and spooky is the musical journey for this eclectic New York DJ. He has had the knack of delivering slow house, reggae, and drum & bass sounds, but so versatile that not much is beyond him. With the release of “Rhythm Science”, Spooky takes us on a ride away from the normal dance community into his experimental grounds. For the purist, forget it! This is too manic to absorb in many ways. He provides obscure synths noises, spoken word, eastern chants and even choir music. It’s not a mess, or a mish-mash of tracks, though. Spooky is sure willing to conjure up something different to enrich our musical tastes.
