:: Eddi Reader - Peacetime

Eddi Reader

Eddi Reader has evolved from ‘punk’ folk in the 80‘s through a pop phase in the 90's before returning to more traditional folk. She is distinctively Scottish in voice and choice of material. 'Peacetime’ follows on from the ‘Songs of Robert Burns’ and includes further songs based on the words of the Bard of Ayrshire. There are also a number of self composed songs that focus on more contemporary themes - bombs and the internet.
