:: Various Artists - Electro Jazz Crooners Volume 1

Various Artists

Emphasis at the beginning is the climax of the introduction of ‘Grand Tourism - Les Courants d'Air’ by the excellent Terry Callier. That‘s the opening track for this compilation of great voice interpretations… One by one the tracks follow an effective path through smooth voices and jazz instrumental ambiences, surrounded by a dynamic groove to support them, and to bring this compilation among the useful CDs during unforgettable cocktail parties. This CD is volume one of the second series of the 'Electro Jazz’. Sixteen titles and sixteen magnificent voices including legends of Jazz and future talents. This CD goes deep into the sensuality of male soul. My personal choices as the high point of this compilation is Track 7, ‘Who Killed Saturday Night’ of Earl Zinger and Track 8, ‘Bettere Place’ of Victor Davies. The cool mix of funky rhythms and sounds brings the listener on a late '70s trip. In general you can find quality music perfectly melted in a overall atmosphere. The listening is enjoyable and relaxing!
