These are very pleasant and well constructed songs with polished final touches in the production - that being most evident because of the dual English/French vocal content. There are relaxing moments that allow Emilie to put across the serene personality she presents. Contrast that with some more deep and meaningful portions which exemplify her ability to bring emotion and full voice to a composition. Fans might be surprised and get a kick out of her cover of The Stooges' song “I Wanna Be Your Dog”. It's quite a unique departure from the original. Overall, this is well worth a listen in moments of reflection and contemplation.
