His last two solo albums had been immensely creative and enjoyable. This latest one, after a lengthy absence, is quite similar in style. The hip-hop styled beats and folk-laden guitars will appeal to the core fan of Everlast. He can produce a popular hit song, and this album probably has a couple of likely candidates such as “Blinded By The Sun” and “Angel”. They tell good stories and the pop senses make them emotional and thought-provoking. Everlast is a genuine performer who doesn't gain the credit he deserves. He probably won't again here, but his music is always worth checking out.
