Evermore

With another album on the way, New Zealand band Evermore is making massive waves in the music industry. They have a distinctive sound, which can be picked out from the crowd of mostly similar sounding songs nowadays, which probably counts for something in terms of reasons for their success. In a tantalising taste of what is to come, a compilation CD of four of their tracks, which will appear on their new album is out now. ‘Running’ is a stand out and all round great track. Serene and mystical it has a powerful melody, fantastic rhythm, and is currently being played over and over on radio stations. ‘Dry’ is a sombre song of a love gone by and future hopes for better times ahead. ‘Broken Glass’ and ‘Not Who You Think You Are’ are thoughtful tracks about life and people living their lives. Their upcoming album ‘Real Life’ is set for release in July and is a must have for fans.
