This is a man who has proven himself a definitive musical genius throughout a decade. His timely entry into the dance scene helped revolutionise the dance scene. It was a time when DJs garnered rock star status (rocking dancefloors worldwide, that is). Now armed with four albums under his belt, this release will still absolutely rock your socks off. It includes his hugely successful tracks “The Rockafeller Skank,” “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now” to more recent tracks including “That Old Pair of Jeans” — all future dance classics. The bonus DVD is literally a “bonus.” You will love the legendary music videos including the ever so memorable “Weapon of Choice” featuring actor Christopher Walken in an unlikely role as a wannabe Gene Kelly. It’s a perfectly choreographed dance sequence directed by the multi-talented Spike Jonze (“Being John Malkovich”). Overall, two thumbs up — one for each disc.
