If this album is any indication, we’ll be hearing from Finch again. This heavy rock band has a very tight, but admirably complex sound. Finch is distinctively raw. Vocals range from lilting like Silverchair, haunting like Tool, and pure screaming. Their drummer also cuts no corners with complicated and changeable beats, and of course the guitars are constant and frenetic. A great heavy album.
