Finding Stella

Upon listening to this CD – my first taste of Finding Stella – I was immediately enthralled. I understand that the band has been drawing a good number of fans to their music, particularly in the West Coast of the USA. Many different elements of 70s and 80s music seem to have inspired female singer-songwriter Chris Snyder and collaborator and bass player Crystal Dykstra. The eleven songs show some clever songwriting capabilities and it’s etched with a rich smoothness in the way the songs are delivered. Good qualities all round and undoubted potential.
