Four days in Geneva is the result of collaboration between some truly talented artists. Producer Ohmega Watts, DJ Idull and MCs Surreal and Braille spent four days in a Geneva studio jamming their gig fell through. Turning their misfortune into a positive they came up with an incredible album. This album has a fresh sound taking it back to the 90s for its smooth and seamless production. Although young, Ohmega Watts has made a name as a “veteran” producer. He’s worked with Mars Ill and Listener, and always comes up with a polished sound. This time around, he has fused the old school hip hop sound with a bit of French style house grooves and, as always, some pretty wicked beats that would make the Neptunes envious. MCs Surreal and Braille are similar in style; they’re edgy rappers but lots of fun. They are not hardcore but not soft either. Considering they only had four days to do it, they came up with some pretty catchy rhymes. For those into soulful hip hop, this is a definite good one.
