It gives great pleasure to listen to the music of Gabriella Cilmi. The Melbourne born sixteen-year-old, of Italian parents, is bound to become one of Australia's big female singing stars. Having spent a good deal of her recent time in the UK, she is already making her mark there. This soul-laden pop song came to my attention when she earned a coveted slot in the “Later With Jools Holland” British TV show. I thought, “Wow, what a performance!” At that stage, she hadn't even released anything. It's simply a breathtaking debut song where Gabriella shows herself to be years beyond her age in vocal maturity.
