:: 2PAC - Nu-Mixx Klazzics2PACAfter his release from prison in 1995, Tupac Shakur recorded two albums for Death Row Records, All Eyes On Me and Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory (recorded under the alias Makaveli), before his death in November 1996. Nu-Mixx Klazzics features 10 tracks from these albums, remixed by Suge Knight and Death Row’s production team, Tha Row Hitters. Knight strips the tracks down to Tupac’s vocals and furnishes them with new beats. New vocals also feature, including appearances Aaron Hall, K-Ci & JoJo, and the Outlawz. Oddly, Snoop Dogg’s appearance in ‘2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted’ has been replaced by vocals from Crooked I. ‘Life Goes On,’ ‘How Do You Want It’ and ‘Hit 'Em Up’ are also stripped back and given the stock standard beats of Death Row artists. These so called ‘klazzics’ are a meagre homage to a man who was genius of hip hop and who had an enormous affect on popular culture. Save your money and your ears for the real Tupac classics. |
