From the United States comes another all-girl group, 3LW (3 Little Women). They are making waves with this debut album. Like many other such acts, they provide their blend of pop and R&B in a smooth, harmonious fashion. They are young in age, but mature and forward thinking in their musical approach. They have gathered a series of successful producers to help in its cohesiveness, and the twelve songs comprise very accessible, mainstream styles that could easily be hit singles. Opening track “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)” gives that nationalistic feel immediately, while “Gettin Too Heavy” is delightful. The funky swerve feeling is captured throughout, in showing the street-sense of the girls and demonstrating an across-the-board appeal. They sing sweetly and they also sing with devil.
