This CD introduces me to a new act from the Foghorn label in Sydney. They are five-piece and come from the respected “Grow Your Own” compilation CD series from 2001. Good guitar rock that hits hard upon the first track “Open My Eyes”, with melody and energy. “Traitor” is interesting in its contrast to the other songs. It offers a moody but loose sound and sets a slightly different feel. The last couple of tracks are lighter, without offering much zest in performance. A little variation offers something not too straightforward, which is good. I’d like to hear more before making further judgement, but there is something in the guitar strength to work with. http://www.arcade500.com
