:: Atari BabyAtari BabyYou may remember Atari Baby (aka Winston Giles) from a couple of years ago with the “Alive In Stereo” release, which should have been a hit. Now, with an album of eleven tracks, with the added bonus of an eight-track CD to boot, this Melbourne electronic fanatic throws more rare nuances into the dance melting pot. It starts off with a very addictive groove-based track “Perfect”. We then get served a resurrection of the old Ratcat hit “That Ain’t Bad”. It has a dainty charm with mellow vocals. Lots of ideas are contained. Check out a fine synth sound of “Share Your Love”. The bonus disc has remixes by local DJs and a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire”. It’s a good, fun package. |
