:: Golden StateBushBush return with their fourth album ‘Golden State’ after a 2-year hiatus spent writing and recording material. The result is a collection of songs with perhaps a harder edge than many of Bush’s previous albums, songs like “Reasons” and “My Engine is With You” rock out with some gritty vocals from Gavin Rossdale and some grungy guitars perfect evidence of this. Of course, Bush are more well known as a singles or radio band and to this end they do not disappoint with tracks like “The People That we Love”, “Superman” and “Land of the Living” showing fans they haven’t forgotten the pop/rock sensibilities they have shown previously through songs such as “Come Down” and “Glycerine”. A bonus track titled “Japanese Freight Train” is a total departure from anything else on this album. This release will please the large army of Bush fans out there, however it’s unlikely to convert the uninitiated. http://www.bush-music.com |
