Crazy Town

You may not realise it but this song is actually the Red Hot Chili Peppers, fronted by rappers Seth Binzer and Bret Mazur. Triple J have been flogging “Butterfly”, as has American radio, and with good reason - it's interesting, spooky and funky. The nebulous of this band appears to be Bret Mazur who then samples his way through his favourite music (with the help of producer Josh Abraham) in an experimental studio project. As usual, the CD single comes with three other remix versions, all bearing no resemblance to the original, which of course, based on samples, sounds nothing like its original either, and on and on it goes…
