This is an outfit that has emerged well over the past twelve months. Comprising brothers Dennis and Darren Dowlut, who were previously known as Kaylan, Disco Montego has taken the path commercial dance success, with two singles released so far. “Beautiful” and “Magic” featured guest vocalist Katie Underwood and the songs did well. They probably mask the creative and clever offerings found elsewhere on this CD. “Get Me Started:” appeals as a fervent, funky number. The Prince influence is strong on songs like “U Talkin To Me” and another guest vocalist Jeremy provides a sparkling vocal on “I Belong To You”. Throw in another slick, polished song “All I Want”, with vocals by Daniel Merriweather, and the package is very spicy and organic. It’s a worthy step forward for Dennis and Darren as they seek to get their message across.
