Piss off Blink 182; we want our own suburban angst rock/pop. Gone are the days of the Aussie beer barn rockers Chisel, INXS and The Angels. Instead we mosh to Jebediah, 28 Days, Frenzal Rhomb and now Eddie Would Go. Chit, Floyd and Keeno make Aus pop rock that kicks with the best of them. ‘January’ is destined to be a suburban anthem, because it covers all that we Aussies hold dear – Aussie footy, surfing, touring with the sweaty mates in the back of the van, and coming to terms with failure. Love it.
