Eden's Crush

As the USA equivalent of Australia’s Bardot, Eden’s Crush presents a cool platter of pop. Anna-Maria, Maile, Ivette, Nicole, and Rosanna give a tight and funky outlook on these tracks. The standout one is “Get Over Yourself” – a heady mix of progressive beats and plenty of attitude. They have the sassy aspects of Bardot and the pop styling of Britain’s Hear’Say and Italy’s Lollipop. There is one drawback. The over-promotion of world popstars is probably jeopardising the credence of acts like Eden’s Crush because it’s not all that bad when you take it on pop face value.
