Local lads Even are back with the first single from their forthcoming album ‘A Different High’. Widely regarded as one of the best pop bands in the country, ‘Shining Star’ sees Even move into unfamiliar territory. With a constant acoustic melody, floating strings and a gentle chorus, it looks as though these power-pop boys have become all grown-up! Whilst it might sit a little uncomfortably at first with ardent Even fans, a few listens will surely unveil the song's undeniable beauty. A lovely instrumental piece and a live acoustic track add to the charm of this release. Looking forward to the album.
