Fatt Dex featuring Trey

I’ll be honest. I don’t really like Fatt Dex. His brand of commercial dance music has never really taken my fancy. Maybe it’s my underground dance ignorance, but I just never took to his work. His latest track is different. It samples the theme to Knight Rider, which automatically makes it cool. To top it off, Trey raps over the top of the track with a tough, funky and damn sexy rhyme. I absolutely love hearing her MC – she’s a real Australian gem and an artist deserving of more exposure – let’s see her at some of the summer festivals. The track is actually part of a Foxtel compilation titled ‘Variations to a Theme’. The idea being for Australian artists to sample/rip-off themes of some classic shows on TV1. Creepin’ is the first release from the album.
