Fear Factory

Over the years, Fear Factory has embarked on a special relationship with their fans with the absorbing quality of their dynamic sound. Following their previous album “Obsolete”, the band now further cements this with the release of “Digimortal”. They take a further position of Man’s place in the world, and there is a certain fresh approach taken with these songs. It is typically aggressive, starting off with the appeal of “What Will Become”. It’s one of the best tracks on the album, actually. More ferocious sounds follow with the very heavy “Acres of Skin” and the extreme “Damaged”, while there is an opportunity to hear a less edgy track, “Linchpin”. But generally, the blistering Fear Factory sounds showcase the rousing drum sounds plus the pulsating guitar. Guitarist Dino Cazares seems to be playing better than ever. One of the notable tracks is the band’s collaboration with B Real from Cypress Hill on “Back the F**k Up”, a momentous clashing of creative minds. Overall, there is further significant progression by this band that also make their point of not forgetting their huge, inspirational past.
