That crazy Newtown brat pack they call Gerling is back again this time with a mighty fine slice of sexy, trashy disco punk for us all to enjoy. The title track “Who\‘s Ya Daddy?” has been a favourite in the Gerling set for sometime now; the recorded version brings to mind The Detroit Grand Poobah\'s \'Sandwiches\’ and references to Sydney artist Spod (who they claim to have not yet heard). Next up, Deepfryer (Ole!) is a great festival sing-along with a very Latino dance feel. The recorded version makes the samples of the prank calls to Mexico a little clearer, which suddenly put you in the dusty surrounds of an outdoor market in a foreign country. Everyone is wearing bright colours and sombreros as the sun beats down upon you and people are trying to natter Spanish in your face and you can\'t understand a word. Then everything starts to spin as the voices start to fade and, just before you pass out, you manage to throw your fist up in the air and yelling.
