This is a band I greatly admire and they deserve to do well because of the uplifting energy and inspiring lyrics they pronounce. Their progression has been full of hard work and great maturity. A new awareness and confidence provide the basis for some ripping punk rock. They show interesting diversity – soft and hard sounds and twin brothers Koel and Benji write good insightful lyrics. It talks of pain and hurtful feelings, and keeping everything real and in perspective. There is the tightness of “Just Wondering”, and the catchy title track. “Emotionless” is a mellow song that draws worthy attention while most of the songs hump along at a brisk, punkier pace. Good Charlotte is one of the best young live acts to emerge in the past two years and demonstrate a charisma and energy that engages the fans. There is still much to deliver in years to come, but I am sure this band has the knack to hit the spots. http://www.goodcharlotte.com
