Honeysmack

This single, taken from the album Rock, starts with a fast pace and a party vibe. Once the whistle effects kick in, we are meant to be transported to Rio at Mardi Gras time. Acting in counterpoint is some beautifully dramatic strings. This single neatly works with party-style techno and nightspot style dance, which ends up providing us with a pretty pleasing slice of booty-shaking fun. This single includes four different versions of the track – a Club Mix, a Radio Edit, and a new version remixed by Spiderbait (Honeysmack remixed their track ‘Bo Bo’ in exchange). Spiderbait have imposed their own trademark punk buzzsaw guitars on the song to great effect. Look out for the full-length album Rock in stores soon.
