House Of Circles

This is the debut release for this Melbourne band, which comprise several experienced musicians. Headed by singer-songwriter Richard Gillard, who has played with other music projects over the past few years, the band displays something that, with a few listens, gives the listener deep, meaningful messages amid attentive musicianship. The driving guitars of “Swell” open the album and, in fact, the first few tracks are polished and pleasing. Fifteen tracks may seem a little long in the collection but it’s a good listen.
