:: Rain Hail ShineIcecream HandsIt’s their first release since the album “Sweeter Than The Radio” and it is specially packaged to contain the single plus four bonus tracks, including an instrumental version of the single, and a live favourite “Sobersides” from their very early days. They’ve been sadly underrated since their inception. Singer/songwriter Charles Jenkins again provides the backbone towards a warm, friendly pop sensibility. Well produced and well played, the ingredients remain very evident as to the band’s quality. Their previous recordings should have allowed them the luxury of lounging back providing sheer music for pleasure without worrying about things like radio airplay and greater media exposure. Sadly, that’s not the case. Listen out to this band before we don’t get to listen anymore. |
