:: OracleKittieThe girls show enormous grunt and energy in this album, and further sell their mean machine sound from their earlier releases. Kittie give us a creepy, power-filled display of rock and some songs are very heavy. Morgan Lander is in fine growling form as well as her singing voice and ensures the band goes all out in their energetic assault. There are some massive guitars and beats spasmodically set up. Examples are, “No Name” and the title track. It’s just a little inconsistent in sound and attraction perhaps. But their philosophy stays strong – making music for themselves and their fans. And they give it 100%. Be sure to hear their awesome cover of Pink Floyd’s “Run Like Hell”. And the song “Safe” contains a creepy piano flavour. They sure pack a big punch and are very individual. So, they deserve support because they give it a real blast with good musicianship. |
